Any analysts fancy becoming a star of TV?

Focus has been approached to identify an analyst to take part in a new series for channel 4, see below.  If your interested contact Lucy.

Thanks so much for chatting just now. As discussed we are looking for a junior analyst to be part of our new project for Channel 4.

Here is the information about the series and what we are looking for:

Shine TV have been commissioned to produce an exciting new primetime factual series for Channel 4, which will be filmed in May 2015 and broadcast in the autumn. In this series, a group of individuals will attempt to live off-grid and undercover while a team of experienced trackers will use their skills and expertise to find them. The series has been commissioned by the documentary and formats department at Channel 4, and the ambition is to make a series that becomes one of their most talked about and exciting projects of this year.

We are looking for a junior analyst to assist our team of trackers. The team includes ex-senior police officers, ex-military and a brilliant analyst from the CIA who is coming to the UK especially for the project. You would need to be available from the 2nd May for a month. This would be a fantastic opportunity to work with and learn from some of the very best security experts in the world.

In the first instance, we’d like to have an initial chat over the phone about the project with anyone who might be interested – to tell them a bit more about it and to get their thoughts on it, with no commitment to take it further if they decide after speaking it’s not for them. Ideally, we would like to speak to people early next week – the deadline for applications is Sunday 12th April.

Here’s a bit about us: Shine TV is one of the UK’s leading independent production companies who create and develop many shows for the major channels including MasterChef (BBC1), the award-winning The Island with Bear Grylls (Channel 4), Stobart: Trucks, Planes and Trains (Five) and Idris Elba: King of Speed (BBC2). The Shine Group includes 27 production companies in 11 different countries, for more information please see

Please reassure people that if they prefer, this role can feature very little on camera.

I would be really grateful if you could let me know of anyone you feel may be suitable for this opportunity. If you need any more information about the programme or other details, please do not hesitate to get in touch and I will be more than happy to help.

Kind regards and thanks again,

Lucy Curtis | Assistant Producer
